In this home-based position, the Airbus A320 PIC (Pilot In Command) will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and Elevate Jet Flight Operations Manual. Additionally, the PIC will ensure the highest possible standard of customer service from beginning to the end of the trip.

  • ATP with A320 Type Rating, 5000 hours total fixed-wing flight time
  • 1000 hours of PIC experience
  • 500 hours minimum in type

Duties:

  • Operate aircraft under FAA 14 CFR 121 regulations which requires pilots, operating in part 121 operations, to not have reached their 65th birthday.
  • Perform all company assigned duties in accordance with company manuals, memos, and policies.
  • Conduct diligent aircraft preflights and prepare cockpit for flight.
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers.
  • Ensure that the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all of the necessary provisions on board for the safety and comfort of the passengers.
  • Wear the company issued uniform and comply with the uniform policy.

Desired Profile:

  • Must have ATP license
  • Possess a current first-class medical (verified at the time of the interview)
  • Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Show proof of right to work in the U.S. and travel internationally as part of the flight crew
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and passport
  • Able to lift 75 lbs. routinely with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • FAA AELS Level 6 or higher

 Able to work in tight time constraints. Be self-motivated and a team player. Able to work nights, weekends, holidays and varying schedules. Able to successfully complete DOT Preemployment drug test, TSA CHRC (criminal history records check), national drivers record check and PRIA (pilot records check). No previous aviation related accidents or incidents.

A plus but not required:

  • VIP experience
  • Part 121 or Part 135 experience
  • Check airman experience 

Geography:

  • This is a home-based position. Employee may live anywhere in the continental United States.
