Our Fly Aboard Mechanics can live anywhere east of the Mississippi - within driving distance to an international airport.
The Fly Aboard Mechanic will be responsible for the support, reliability and efficiency of operating aircraft on the line in accordance with FAA regulations and Elevate Jet Maintenance Manual. Additionally, the Fly Aboard Mechanic will ensure the highest possible standard of workmanship and overall customer service as a team player.
Minimum Qualifications:
Airframe and Powerplant License
Minimum of 2 years experience working as an A&P in the past 5 years
Scheduled Air Carrier Experience a plus
Inspection Experience a plus
Embraer Experience a plus
Excellent communication skills and able to take instructions, reporting to the Director of Maintenance or designee.
Duties:
Perform all company assigned duties in accordance with company manuals, memos, and policies to the highest level of safety standards.
Conduct diligent aircraft pre-flights and prepare cockpit for flight.
Ensure that the aircraft is mechanically airworthy and prepared for the flight with all necessary provisions onboard for the safety and the comfort of crew and passengers.
Wear the company issued uniform and comply with the uniform policy.
Desired Profile:
5 Years maintenance experience in the past 7 years.
Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Be a U.S. citizen or upon hire show proof of right to work in the U.S.
Possess a valid driver’s license and passport.
Able to lift 75 lbs. routinely with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Able to work in stressful situations and tight time constraints.
Be self-motivated and a team player.
Able to work nights, weekends, holidays and varying schedules.
Able to successfully complete DOT Pre Employment drug test, TSA CHRC (criminal history records check) and national drivers record check.
No previous aviation related violations or certificate actions.
Flexible location east of the Mississippi - Can live anywhere in the Eastern US close to an international airport.
